Issue 1: CMWC, 2023. Yokohama, Japan.

In the summer of 2023, I travelled to Japan for the Cycle Messenger World

Championships. This was for two months to research messenger culture and

attempt to build an academic understanding of the messenger community. What I

found was a community, and industry, unsure of itself, unsure of its future, and at

odds with what it means to be a messenger.

This zine explores this research through a collection of quotes and photos.

This zine is pay what you can all the way down to zero. If you do choose to pay (thank you), all funds will go towards producing a print version and conducting more messenger research!
